The latest version of the Hayward Tuning Vine is v1.5.0, released on March 15th 2021.
This is a free update for all users of previous versions with the following additions / changes:
1. Prime numbers 29 and 31 added, appearing as brown and mint nodes.
2. Full chromatic scale dropdown menu for selecting 1/1 Note in Options, making it no longer necessary to do any maths when resetting the 1/1.
3. Central black node turns pale when 1/1 is shifted.
4. Automatic / manual check for application updates included.
5. Bug fix: mouseover now working correctly between larger nodes and small (green) overlapping nodes.
6. Bug fix: unintended raising of active cards by mouseover of inactive nodes corrected.
7. Bug fix: cents always shown between -49 and +50, throughout entire range.
8. Bug fix: Options dialogue no longer opens multiple times.
Please note that v1.5 is compatible with Windows 7, 8 ,10 & OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) to 11 (Big Sur) desktop operating systems (and known to work through Wine on Linux). It may not work on earlier operating systems!

Why I invented the Hayward Tuning Vine |

I invented the Hayward Tuning Vine because I wanted to both see and hear the multidimensionality implicit within Just Intonation. I wanted to be able to navigate through it, whilst maintaining a clear sense of both harmonic and melodic relationships.
Finally, I invented it because I wanted to focus fully on the music, rather than getting bogged down in the maths that lie behind Just Intonation.

Multiple instances |

Just an idea, in case users have not noticed: it is possible to open multiples instances of the Vine.
Personally I often use 2 at a time, either for 2 tonalities or 2 different sounds (for example, sine waves + saw) I want to use/hear simultaneously.
